Toki Suntory Whisky

Single Malt Whiskey
Bottle of Toki Suntory Japanese whisky beside a Glencairn glass filled neat, on a polished bar with warm ambient lighting.

The Point B getaway delivered a great tasting, this time thanks to Joe Boyles and his excellent Japanese whisky picks. Even though I didn’t take proper notes during the event, what I remember stands out: it had that classic Japanese elegance—delicate, balanced, and never overpowering. Nose: Subtle fruit, vanilla, and soft oak with a hint of maybe-sandalwood. Palate: Silky smooth texture, gentle sweetness, hints of green apple and honey, plus that signature Japanese oak character. Light spice came through nicely too. Finish: Clean, smooth, and lingering—made you want another sip.

Joe really knows how to choose them. Next time I’ll actually write things down!
