Kernel Panic Kosmo

The cosmopolitan (aka cosmo) gained popularity during the 90’s when it was frequently mentioned on the television show Sex and the City. The combination of vodka, orange liqueur, lime juice, and cranberry juice make it a timeless classic. I served this drink at a tech themed company event in 2016, hence the name playing off the system event for "unstable" behavior's which can result in data memory loss.

Ingredients

1 ½ oz. vodka

½ a lime squeeze

¼ oz. orange liqueur (aka triple sec)

 ¼ oz. cranberry juice

1 cup ice

Directions

1. Combine wet ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
2. Add ice, cover, and shake until chilled.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with a lime wheel.
